Heartland Rescue Ranch is a As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and has been the refuge for thousands of animals rescued, rehabilitated, re-homed, or sanctuaried for over 10 years.
Founded by long-time animal lover and rescuer, Amy Shepherd. We are a safe haven for over 100 sanctuaried animals and help as many others as we can. We welcome visitors by appointment. We also invite groups and schools to come out! If you would like more information please get in touch.

How you can Help
Make a Donation
Animal rescues rely on the kindness of donations to help fund veterinarian bills and other necessary supplies. Our animal rescue is no different–we are always in need of help. If you are considering making a donation, money is always useful to help cover the costs of medical bills. However, we also accept donations of items such as towels, blankets, pet food, and toys. These items help to make the animals more comfortable as they wait to be adopted into their forever homes. No matter what you decide to donate, your generosity will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us to care for the animals under our protection. Thank you for your consideration!
Consider Fostering
Animal rescues are always in need of help. One way you can help is by fostering an animal. This involves temporarily taking an animal into your home and providing love, care, and attention. It is a rewarding experience, and it helps to socialize the animal, preparing it for a forever home. If you are interested in fostering an animal, please contact your local animal rescue. We would be happy to match you with an animal that needs your help. Thank you for considering foster care. Together, we can make a difference for animals in need.

We have been busy
We have come to the aid of animals in the Bay, Washington, Jackson and other surrounding counties for over ten years. We have taken in animals that include horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, goats and more.
